Evalutation: When doing the search on American Memory, I noticed that not all of the search results were on the Great Depression. Alot of the search results were not interviews. Many search results were about places or events that took place during the Great Depression. By skimming through a couple of seach results, I thought many of the stories looked very interesting.

I think this is a great example of the Great Depression because it shows how negroes lived. The didn't have the best living conditions. almost all of the colored people living back then were extremely poor and lived on the streets with little supplies and no job. Colored peple were very discriminated back then and did not have all the writes as white people. They also did not have as much money as white people, as you can see in this picture. During the Great Depression, everyone was poor, but it seemed like the negroes sufered the most.
